Restoration & Repair
Heirlooms brought back.
Chipped tips, rusted carbon steel, broken bolsters, regrinding. The blade your grandfather carried can be the blade you pass down.
What we sharpen
- Chip and tip repair
- Carbon steel rust removal
- Re-profiling & thinning
- Broken bolster repair
- Handle replacement (referral)
- Patina re-establishment
- Vintage & antique knives
- Pre-WWII military blades
Our process
- 01
Free assessment
Bring it in — we'll quote restoration before any work. Some blades are worth the labor; some aren't.
- 02
Profile correction
Chips ground out, tip rebuilt, edge geometry restored without losing more steel than necessary.
- 03
Surface work
Rust removed with progressive abrasives. Carbon steel rebuilds a natural patina with use.
- 04
Final edge
Once the blade is structurally right, we sharpen as we would any premium knife.
"They took good care of me and got a chipped knife back in working order for me!"
